The Statler Brothers – The World Of Vinyl 2 LP Set Columbia

Step into the golden era of 1960s and 1970s vocal country music with The World of The Statler Brothers, a comprehensive double-album retrospective by legendary quartet The Statler Brothers. Released in 1972 on Columbia Records (KG 31557), this 2-LP set gathers essential early recordings, fan-favorite tracks, and hit singles from the group’s landmark tenure with Columbia.

Pressed across two 12-inch 33 RPM stereo vinyl LPs, this release showcases the group’s signature blend of soaring tenor solos, rich bass undertones, and immaculate four-part vocal arrangements. Accompanied by classic Nashville backing instrumentation—acoustic rhythm guitars, weeping pedal steel, and gentle percussion—this compilation captures the perfect mix of humor, heartbreak, and traditional American vocal quartet heritage.
